K&L Microwave and Dow-Key Microwave have combined their expertise in the manufacture of low passive intermodulation (low PIM) components to offer customized automated test equipment for verifying PIM performance. Coupling K&L’s library of low PIM cavity bandpass/bandstop diplexers (with guaranteed PIM performance as low as -156 dBc) with Dow-Key’s low PIM switches, we can create/provide test systems to verify the performance of full power base stations.

For test applications not requiring two 40 watt input tones, lumped element filters can be used with standard switches to provide a cost-effective solution. All of these options can be tailored to the customer’s block diagram to include directional couplers for injection of interfering signals or other unique requirements.
